Monte Jumping 4 Kids in Immigration Detention

Children don't belong in immigration detention. They never did. We must ensure that this never happens again. On Thursday 29 October the students and staff of Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College North Sydney added their voice to the ‘Jump Up & Down 4 Kids’ campaign in support of removing children from immigration detention.

Children suffer significant harm from being in detention. Jump up & down for kids and share this message!

 

The Heart of Mercy

Monte Mercy Day and Celebration Week 2015

Monte celebrates Mercy Day. Through our liturgical theme of "Welcoming the Stranger" we draw attention to the plight of asylum seekers and refugees. The Catherine McAuley Awards presented on Mercy Day acknowledge those within our community who, through their actions, truly are living the Mercy values. We also celebrate and farewell the Year 12 Class of 2015.

Design Week Showcase 2015

This video showcases beautiful, creative and sustainable design works from the Monte Sant’ Angelo Design Week 2015. Featuring a selection of original technical and fashion design projects from Years 7-11 and Year 12 major works. The design works include; furniture, lighting, jewellery, environmental pieces, street wear, as well as stunning bridal and evening gowns.

The Importance of a Global Education

In this video, Principal Mrs Nicole Christensen speaks about the importance of a global education and encourages the new generation of young Mercy women to dream with determination and take positive action for a better world.

Monte's Sr Lecia Coombe RSM Hymn - 'When We Need a Mother's Love'

This beautiful hymn 'When We Need a Mother's Love' was written by Sr Lecia Coombe RSM and recorded in the Monte Chapel. The singers and instrumentalists featured in this hymn include Monte Alumni and staff. Monte Sant' Angelo Mercy College acknowledges the support and contributions of everyone involved in the production of this hymn.

A crowd of more than 2500 people flowed through the grounds of Monte’s Open Day, Sunday March 15. One of the most popular highlights was the 140th Anniversary historical display in Mercy Hall.

Monte 10th Anniversary Bursary Rugby Lunch

On 7 August 2015, a record gathering of over 680 community and some of Australia's finest rugby legends helped Monte Sant' Angelo Mercy College raise a record $165,000 for the Monte Bursary Program. This video features amazing World Rugby highlights and inspirational messages from John Eales, the most successful captain in the history of Australian rugby, Phil Kearns, George Gregan, Nick McArdle and Rod Kafer.
