The Blue & Blue Scholarship

The Blue & Blue Scholarship is awarded to a current student completing Year 10, for study in Years 11 and 12 at the College. The award provides for a half Bursary in Years 11 and 12.

The Scholarship is awarded to a student who exemplifies the school motto: Religion, Knowledge, and Culture. The student will demonstrate academic achievement, participation in the co-curricular activities of the College and contribution to the liturgical, justice and service life of the College community.

 The Scholarship is based on the following criteria:

  • Academic achievement as evidenced by consistently strong performance in school subjects in Years 7-10;
  • A high level of participation across a range of co-curricular activities in Years 7-10; and
  • Contribution to the life of the College through the involvement in Years 7-10 in liturgical activities, social justice activities and service activities.

A committee consisting but not limited to the Director of Mission, Director of Senior School, Deputy Pastoral Care and Head of Year 10 will shortlist the applicants. This committee will then conduct the interviews of short-listed applicants and provide the Principal with a recommendation. The winner of the Scholarship is announced at the Senior School Liturgy and Awards Ceremony in November.

Year 10 students are invited to apply for the Blue & Blue Scholarship in the year in which they will complete Year 10.

Applications have closed for 2010.
