On Tuesday 28 July 2026, the Monte community came together for our inaugural Giving Day, raising an extraordinary $133,786 for the Blue Ribbon Bursary Appeal and exceeding our $100,000 fundraising goal.
Parents, alumni, staff and friends united behind one shared purpose: helping current Monte students continue their education when their families experience unexpected financial hardship.
The Blue Ribbon Bursary Appeal provides financial assistance to students whose families are experiencing unexpected hardship through illness, loss or changing circumstances. A bursary provides more than financial support. It enables a student to remain at Monte, continuing her education alongside her classmates while maintaining the friendships, confidence and sense of belonging that are such an important part of College life.
Every donation made on Giving Day will help provide bursaries that enable students experiencing financial hardship to continue their Monte education, creating opportunities that will shape their futures and strengthen our College for generations to come.
The success of our inaugural Giving Day marks the beginning of a new biennial tradition, bringing the Monte community together every two years to create lasting impact for current and future generations of Monte students.
