On Tuesday 28 July, the College will come together for a moment of shared purpose as we host our inaugural Giving Day in support of the Blue Ribbon Bursary Appeal.
This day is a collective expression of who we are and what we stand for as a Mercy community. Throughout the day, members of our College community will be invited to donate or pledge their support to the bursary appeal. Each gift, no matter the size, carries profound meaning. It is an act of generosity and is a statement of belief in the dignity, potential and future of young women who need us most.
The Blue Ribbon Bursary exists to provide security, stability and hope to students experiencing personal and financial hardship. For some families, life can change suddenly through illness, loss or financial difficulties. In these moments of uncertainty, bursaries ensure that a Monte Mercy education remains uninterrupted, allowing students to continue learning in a place where they feel safe, supported and known.
Our inaugural Giving Day is an opportunity to stand alongside these young women and their families. Together, through compassion and generosity, we can ensure that no student’s education is disrupted by hardship and that the Mercy values are lived out in the most meaningful way.
