The College promotes a ‘Sport for All’ platform, which encourages a high level of participation and offers a wide variety of sports (over 30 sports and activities) for both competition and enjoyment.
Students are graded into the appropriate team to develop the potential of each participant. Fitness and skills training are held every week. Coaches are specialists in their sport and come from a variety of backgrounds including parents, teachers, Alumni and older students.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award offers students a unique opportunity to involve themselves in an internationally renowned program designed to develop skills that prepare them for life beyond the College.
Students are required to complete four components including, Adventurous Journey, a skill activity, physical recreation and a volunteer component, as well as a Residential Project in the Gold Award level.
The students’ perseverance and initiative are developed while undertaking activities such as hiking or canoeing and camping.
