On Friday 15 May 2026, the Monte community gathered at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney for the annual Blue & Blue Fundraising Lunch in support of the Blue Ribbon Bursary Appeal.
The event brought together alumni, parents, staff and friends of the College to celebrate the Mercy value of Service and raise funds for students whose families are experiencing significant personal and financial hardship.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended, together with our generous sponsors and donors, whose support made the event possible. Through their generosity, guests helped strengthen the College’s longstanding commitment to supporting students and families during times of challenge.
Thanks to the generosity of our guests, sponsors and donors, the event raised more than $60,000 for the Blue Ribbon Bursary Appeal, helping ensure students can continue their Monte education when their families face extraordinary circumstances.
We were honoured to welcome our Principal, Mrs Nicole Christensen, and delighted to hear from alumna Lucy Kough (Class of 1995), CEO and Founder of Tap the Gap, as Guest Speaker.
We also acknowledge Brigid Glanville, Managing Partner at GRACosway, former ABC journalist and Monte parent, who guided the afternoon as Master of Ceremonies.
The Blue & Blue Fundraising Lunch remains an important expression of Monte’s Mercy tradition, bringing our community together in service of others and helping ensure students facing hardship can continue to access the opportunities of a Monte education.
The College looks forward to welcoming the community back for the 2027 Blue & Blue Fundraising Lunch as we continue to support students and families through the Blue Ribbon Bursary Appeal.
