Library

Library 1 Library 2

Monte’s Library is central to supporting the curriculum and wide reading needs of our students. It is housed in one of the College’s heritage buildings and was a former dormitory. It has been sensitively renovated to meet the needs of the community and provides a flexible learning space for both formal classes before and after school and lunch time. The Library includes comfortable reading and teaching areas, private study areas and access to technology. The Library has a physical space as well as an online presence via Monte Connect that provides students with access to databases and other sources of online information. Our "Library without walls" offers students 24 hour access to its resources and catalogue.

The Library is staffed by:

Mrs Deborah Brown - Manager, Library and Information Science

Mrs Jenny Uther - Teacher Librarian

Mrs Natalie Hendricks - Audio Visual Technician

Mrs Norma Harrington - Library Assistant

Mrs Lisa Coles - Library Assistant

The Library’s opening hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am–5.30pm; Friday 7.30am-4.00pm.
